So just how soon can we get an iPhone and start using it in Dubai? The recent plethora of hacks may be just the answer…the latest being a simple user-friendly unlock by iPhoneSimFree (this hack didnt involve tinkering with hardware or complicated software fixes … however, shortly after the cloaked distribution of their hack, hackers around the world had already copied the solution and released it for free)
For those of you unaware of the reasons for all the hacks… Apple has an exclusive agreement with AT&T to provide cellular services for the iPhone..so you can buy an iPhone in the US but it can only be activated with AT&T…. so even if you brought it to Dubai, you wouldn’t be able to use the phone / calling and other features… the hack allows the iPhone to be used with other networks / SIM cards / providers. Note, however, that Apple hasn’t officially commented on these hacks and their future firmware updates may just end up disabling any hacks you’ve applied …and some hacks out there can potentially “brick” your phone! However, all things said and done… its an appealing idea to apply a simple iPhone hack and use it months ahead of anyone else 
If you’re the obsessive compulsive type or just a tech freak…(with the discretionary income to match) then the iPhone hacks may be just the solution to use it in Dubai.
